This formal portrait features four young men with musical instruments. To date the only man identified is Edward C. Selker in the lower right hand corner. The other young men are currently unknown. It is possible that the other men are siblings of Edward. Family stories indicated that the children of Joseph William Selker and Frances P. Guth were all able to play a musical instrument.
